TNT Pizza

So, check it out folks; not only do I love food but so does my family. So much so that one of my family members decided to open up a pizza shop. Oh, and did I mention that he's only 21. TNT Wings and Pizza is my second cousin Dean's shop located in York, PA. They have so many delicious things on the menu but they also have monthly events. Check it all out here.

Their menu is HUGE. They cook up everything from wings, friend chicken and crabs to traditional pizza shop fare like Stromboli, pizza and pasta. Now, let me show you a few of my favorite things on the menu.

Asian Fusion at Macao

Happy Birthday Jill!

My friend Jill recently had a birthday and to celebrate we headed to TriBeCa to  Macao. I had the pleasure of spending the evening getting to know some new girlfriends and enjoying the fabulous food. Macao is an intimate, dimly lit, semi mysterious, Eurasian Cuisine restaurant. It is a "scrumptious blend of Chinese and Portuguese influences."

They have a simple menu so you are not overwhelmed with choices. View the full menu here. Now, keep in mind there was ten of us at this dinner so I took a lot of photos of everyone's food. So, grab a tissue cause you might start drooling when you see what Macao has to offer.

We had such a fantastic time at Macao. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was very New York City and the whole experience was fabulous. Macao is located at 311 Church Street, New York, New York. Go Asian Fusion!

Cubana Cafe: Yummy, Yummy In My Tummy.

Oh. My. Gosh. This place rocks. After walking two miles to discover the place we had planned on going to dinner was closed, Alex and I ended up at this fabulous joint: Cubana Cafe. The inside was small and homey and the decor made me feel like I just stepped into a party in Cuba. The walls were bright, seating was tight and the food was comforting.

To start off we ordered a Relleno de papa: crispy mashed potato stuffed with savory ground beef, served with a tomato cilantro relish and it was so, so good! Next we moved on to what I'm assuming was baked slices of Plantain with some homemade sauces.

Finally it was time for the main course. We ordered a Shrimp with Roast Garlic Platter with tomato salsa, rice and black beans and Palomilla: pounded chicken breast marinated in garlic lime and onions, served with rice and beans. It sure did hit the spot!

Williamsburg Flea; Fantastic Bites and Sights

 The Williamsburg Flea is one of my favorite Brooklyn finds. It is similar to the Fort Greene Flea that I posted about before. (Read about it here.) The Williamsburg Flea and the Fort Greene Flea are similar in venders but they differ in locations and days of operation. Now, I hope you are ready for the most picture-heavy-post yet, because I am! So sit back and relax while I tell you all about the grub I indulged in on my last visit.

When Annie and I arrived to the Williamsburg Flea we took an adventure through time by looking at all of the vintage things that the vendors sell. Here is a little glimpse for you!

After we traveled thought time we arrived at food vendor heaven. The first thing I saw was this huge, oven baked pizza and I had to have a slice! The pizza was baked by the men of PizzaMoto and it didn't disappoint me at all. PizzaMoto is known for their mobile wood fire oven and their amazing light and delicious pies.

When I met up with Annie she came with her hands full of this glorious fried shrimp. We were so hungry and ready to chow-down that I forgot to ask her what stand she got it from.

While we sat and ate we checked out the beautiful view and pondered what was for dessert. Obviously, we decided on the first sweet treat we saw...donuts.

 Our final stop of this food feast was at Dough for a scrumptious doughnut. I got the CAFE AU LATE and fell in love! For more info on Dough check out their website here.

RIOZ Brazilian Steakhouse

RIOZ Brazilian Steakhouse is an authentic Brazilian Steakhouse located in Myrtle Beach and Columbia, SC. When we recently visited Myrtle Beach we could not wait to try this place out. About ten seconds after we were seated we were invited to go to the extensive salad bar that featured a lot of cheese, sea food, sushi and my favorite: rice and beans.

Oh, and don't forget the Sangria.

Then after you choose what you would like to eat from the salad bar the meat begins! They have continuous table side service of 15 different choices of meat which include beef, pork, lamb and poultry. Check out the full menu here. The coolest part about this whole thing is that you have a card which is red on one side and green on the other and whenever you are ready for meat you flip your card to green and when you're full you flip it to red.

 We really had such a great time at this place and want everyone to love it as much as we did. Next time you are in the south be sure to check it out! For the full meal its around $37 a person. Not bad I say, not bad.

Bottoms Up With Blue Bell

 I discovered Blue Bell Ice Cream last summer when Alex and I were living in Texas and since then I have been on the look out for it everywhere I go. Last week when we were in Myrtle Beach I saw a Blue Bell Ice Cream sign and I practically ran to it. This is my favorite ice cream and I am really excited to tell you all about it.

Blue Bell Ice Cream was first made in 1930 and they have been cranking out half gallons and pints of ice cream ever since. Unfortunately for us New Yorkers, Blue Bell Ice Cream can only be found in 26% of the nations supermarkets with products sold in Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, New Mexico, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia and Wyoming. However, I am filling you in on this amazing treat so next time you take a trip South you will discover it for yourself.

 My favorite Blue Bell Ice Cream flavor is Moo-llennium Crunch. It is "classic vanilla ice cream with a combination of dark chocolate chunks, creamy caramel chunks, roasted pecan halves, chopped almonds and walnut pieces." Yummy! Next time you head south check Blue Bell Ice Cream out for yourself!
